Dark Places & Demogorgons

This scenario relies heavily on the Dark Places & Demogorgons rules as it leans hard into the 80’s high school themes the game has. Either DP&D for Old School Essentials or the original by Bloat Games will do.

Scenario Setting

Camp Dread! is a perfect introductory adventure for Dark Places & Demogorgons players, and is set in the early to mid-1980’s, although it can be adapted to nearly any time period where teenage hijinks at summer camp can happen. This adventure can easily be run in one session to throw a classic supernatural monster at the new players. It is highly recommended that Game Masters utilize the nostalgia of 80’s summer camp to the fullest: hot, uncomfortable bus rides, the smell of mosquito repellant, hot dogs, and chuck wagons for dinners, etc.
