What is Campgrounds & Cryptids?

Campgrounds & Cryptids is a series of solo tabletop rpg adventures, where everything you need to play is included in a single zine.  CG&C was heavily inspired by Dark Fort, the solo ttrpg that inspired Mork Borg.  

Each CG&C adventure is made to be picked up and played with no prior reading required, as each scenario is procedurally generated. Simply, begin reading, start rolling, and you are playing!  It's that easy.  

Each CG&C zine has high replay value, as their are numerous random tables used to vary the options and the scenario.  The game system in CG&C is tough but fair, and is designed to take multiple attempts before you succeed, with each game session lasting around 30-45 minutes. 

While the layout is highly-stylized, each zine is focused on ease of use. Each zine is between 20 pages.  See layout examples below.
